Make sure to REPIN this recipe
I was having a conversation earlier this week about how mason jars make drinks taste better…. Now my thesis might not have any logic to it ( *cough* I know it does not) regardless I will pull out my step ladder ( I am a 5’2 gal here) so I can get my mason jar on the top shelf
There are few thing and people I would take the much effort…. I am only slightly kidding
I have now expanded that the color coordinating string and straw is a must ( now I am just kidding about that part…. maybe)
All you really need is an apple and cinnamon ( you do not have to add cinnamon but I love the taste) – the type of apple you pick is important you want to make sure you are using a sweet apple since you are not adding any other sweetner
Now the apple does not only taste good BUT it is good for you
The apple is an energy booster – think of this drinks as a really great alternative to apple juice ( fun fact – my mom never let me have apple juice as a kid she said it would rot my teeth 😉 )
As you can see I did not add a ton of cinnamon to the drink — I also made sure to add a BUNCH of ice ( it has been pretty warm here in Portland, OR – how is the weather where you live?)
Lastly, the one thing I’ve realized when making these water recipes is that the water quality is super important for crisp taste and freshness.

I have been looking all over for a detox recipe that I had read, but I don’t remember where I saw the recipe. It called for granny smith apples, cinnamon, and vinegar, and of course lots of ice and water in a mason jar. Is this one of your recipes, and if so, is there a way you can share it with me? I went and bought the ingredients and now I can’t find the recipe!

Apple juice absolutely could rit your teeth. My younger brother Bill hated milk, so my mom gave him apple juice. He had to have all his teeth capped because they all decayed.
